THREE people have been seriously injured and five arrested in what police called a “serious disturbance” at a playground in a North Wales town.
Police were called to the children’s play area in Dolgellau, Gwynedd, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
One person who was taken to Morriston Hospital in Swansea has now been taken off the critical list, but has serious injuries, say police.
Two more have been taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital in Bangor.
The five who were arrested are in police custody, North Wales Police said.
Officers were investigating what happened throughout Saturday.
Inspector Siobhan Edwards said the incident happened at 2am at the children's play area near the leisure centre in Dolgellau.
Police are appealing for anyone in the area at that time to contact them.
